Can You Recommend Cheap Thailand Beach Tour Trip?
I want to visit thailand this Christmas with my partner. We are not really low budget backpackers but we would like to experience Thailand culture. I wanted to book a nice beach tour that would visit different beaches and some villages, sample local food etc. Does anyone know of any good cheap tour/trips that stay in reasonably good accomodation.
Also can anyone tell me all the must see places and general useful info.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

It is easier and better to get around Thailand without a tour. Check out http://www.visualthailand.com for 1,000′s of actual photos of all the attractions in Thailand. You can get airfare off the internet reasonably.
The problem is Christmas time in Thailand is the high tourist season and prices for hotels are at their most expensive. You would need to book ahead to guarantee a room.
I suggest you look at Visual Thailand, find the places you want to visit through the photos then ask more detailed Yahoo questions about those exact places including where to stay, cost, etc.
You can plan the best trip by yourself, so easily, with all the help of the people here on Yahoo Answers that actually live in Thailand
It’s better if you do the research and plan you own trip.
You will love all the photos at Visual Thailand, it is almost like being in Thailand, but not quite!
Good luck

Why bother with tours if you are travelling on a shoestring.Trains and air-con buses are not expensive and it is easy to get to Islands and beaches. In most places there are out door food stands, vendors, markets and cheap restaurants. As for accomadation head to Khaosan Road backpacker land in Bangkok and stay in simple huts when you are at the beach
