Beautiful Thailand – Life Changing Trip to Koh Chang
A music compilation of our time on Koh Chang island in Thailand. The video starts on Koh Kham which is next to Koh Mak, ranked among the world's top 10 secret and unknown islands. A mother and son adventure that changed both of our lives. A last minute trip that ended up being the most special, enjoyable and life altering experience we've ever had. We've both been through a lot the past few years. We happened to both let go and find peace of mind at the same place and time. It goes beyond vacations, beaches and sun. It was completely unexpected and not sought after. It made for an amazing time together. I couldn't find a better travel partner and am very proud this can be my mother who is very adventurous and active. Thailand is a beautiful country with a great culture. It truly is an amazing place to visit with so much to see. The people are extremely friendly and sincere, the food is awesome and it is a beautiful and interesting country to visit. The adventures continue. More at www.worldtrip.ca

Ko Chang OR Ko Samui?
I am planning a trip to Thailand w/ my girlfriend. We are in our late 20's. She likes beaches and partying and I like to stay off the beaten path. To accommodate both of us, we are spending time in Bangkok (for both of us) Chiang Mai (for me) and Phuket (for her).
Now we have time for one more beach and I'd like it to be a quieter, relaxing beach (the opposite of Phuket) where we can stay in a family-run bungalow. My top two choices are Ko Chang and Ko Samui.
Ko Chang: Seems quieter and less touristy. Plus its location in eastern Thailand is different from the other places that we will be visiting, which is definitely a plus. The main drawback is that it is a 7 hour 1-stop flight from Phuket, which is essentially, a waste of an entire day.
Ko Samui: Seems also like a quiet place, but perhaps less so than Ko Chang. While it's location is similar to Phuket, I do realize it that Ko Samui, like Ko Chang, sits on the Gulf of Thailand. The biggest plus is that its only a hour direct flight from Phuket.
Is Ko Chang so much better (read: quiet, peaceful, less developed, less touristy) than Ko Samui that I could bear a 7 hour 1-stop flight rather than the quick 1 hour direct flight from Phuket? If you recommend Ko Samui, any good suggestions for quiet, less touristy beaches where beach front bungalows are plentiful (and cheap!)?
Thank you!

Ko Chang, Thailand….. has anyone been and can recommend some things?
Hi there
My partner and I are coming to Ko Chang in April 2009 for about a week.... can anyone recommend accommodation on the island, doesn't have to be really fancy just anything that's really close to the beach, ideally on the beach front!!
Also can anyone recommend what are the best parts of Ko Chang to stay, ie: that are closer to the 'bars and restaurants' etc.....
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
