Is Oct or Nov good time to visit Thailand? Me and my friend want to go for 3 weeks, but these are only months?
we can get the time off. We are wanting to have first 2 weeks at beach resort and last week in city of bangkok. Will the weather be good for beach resort, will it be nice to swim in sea and get suntan etc, where is best to go for beach resort and what dates would be best in Oct - Nov for 3 weeks. Thanks
What are some good islands to visit in Thailand (Andaman Coast) in November?
I am trying to avoid huge touristy places like Phuket, but not necessarily trying to go too remote either. I'd like some cool scenery, beaches that are not too crowded, and a decent variety of food is a must. Thanks

im going to thailand in a few wks for my first time and I want to explore some of the beaches.
I know a lot of them are completely overcrouded with tourists....
are there any nice ones that arent as packed with tourists that I should see?

I'm going to Thailand in February (2008) can anyone recommend a good yoga retreat in Koh Phangnan, Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi or Koh Tao? I went to a place called "The Sanctuary" on Koh Phangnan. I'm looking for a similar place - cleanses, daily yoga classes and spa but with a better beach.
