how does my idea to start my hotel sound?
Im currently in high school and im just exploring the fields of carreers and to see wich one is fit for me , but the main thing is that i want to make millions!-im aware that you have to have a lot of money to start a hotel so this is my plan ,
After i finish college ill go off to newyork to work on my masters at cornell,ill work save up some money, and hopefully ill get some sort of intership at a firm beacuase i can speak many differnt languages(english,Thai,Chinse,Spanish) and i can be a good benefit when there trying to sell stocks or etc.
overseas ,and i have gift for talking to people so im realy good with people .After i get a good sum of money out of that and make some powerful alliances at the firm they can help invest into my hotel.
I was thinking about to start the hotel in Thailand becuase
1-its a booming tourist attraction
2-our US dollar goes way farther over there
3-the geography of thailands is very beautiful it reigns from mountains to crytal clear beaches.
Clean Cheap hotel in Bangkok and Phuket ?
I'm going to thailand in the beginning of december. Spending 3 nights in bangkok and 6 nights in phuket. Was wondering if anyone could suggest some hotels for my stay there. Looking to spend about $50 a night. In bangkok i am looking for something close to shopping, rest. etc.. wanting to go to the night market...a tour or two.... close to the railway system... and in phuket we have not decided if we want to stay on patong, karon or kata. Not sure what the best decision would be. We are looking for a lively area but not too crazy with people haggling us every minute to buy things. Just restaraunts shopping nice beach... take daily tours to other islands. Please help... there are soooooo many options !!!!!!
Good hotel in Koh Tao?
We're going to Thailand in February. Koh Tao is also on our list. We would like to stay there for 5 days. We need a nice bungalow that is right at the beach (beachfront) and also shoudn't cost over 3000 Baht a night. There also shoudn't be a lot of noise. It should have a great beach with good snorkelling. Any recommendation?

I'm interested in purchasing a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. Its off of 3rd road near Beach St. I'm willing to rennovate the hotel to make it more modern. It the hotel consist of 2 restaurants serving western food and the other serving thai food. I was planning to close one of the restaurant down and make the lobby bigger. The current owner is in bind with cash, so I can purchase the hotel for a fraction of the price. The property has all legit paper work to sell all liquor, and cigaretts. Does anyone know if the government will give me a hard time? Is there curruption? Will I have to sleeze anyone pockets? Please advise! Thanks

Hotel on patong beach phuket comparable to Deevana resort and spa?
im planning a vacation to thailand and will be in phuket from dec3 to dec9... am looking for a hotel that is comparable with the deevana resort spa wing... around $50 per night. Found the deevana on a website for 47$ per night but only for the garden wing which i am not liking from the pictures. Also .... do you think i could get a deal if i called the hotel direct??? or is it always better through websites?

1) Looking for a hotel thats near pattaya beach and walking street
2) Better and more amenities (pool, free internet, no joiner fee, tv in bathroom, free parking etc) at no or less charge...
