Koh Larn is a wonderful little island in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Larn is located about 7km off the coast of Pattaya Beach of which is about two hours drive south of Bangkok. The Island is about 4km long and about 2km wide and has about a thousand residents most of whom live in the main village called Naban. Most of the people that live here also work and go to school on the island. Any of the everyday necessities are here including a police force and a small medical facility. There are about six beaches on the island that boast white sand and clear blue water. Koh Larn is a lush green tropical island which has an abundant amount of rain fall each year during monsoon. The terrain is mostly mountainous which is covered in most part with heavy vegetation, jungle if you will. Monkeys naturally inhabit the island as well as other wildlife. Infrastructure here in most part consist of narrow roadways covered with brick pavers. There are many activities here for visitors to enjoy, some include para sailing, snorkeling, jet ski, banana boat, swimming in tropical waters, and there is even a shooting range located here. Phuket or Pattaya?
Hello,
i am planing to spend my next holidays in Thailand for the first time.
I am not shure where to go?? Pattaya or Phuket????
For me it is important that i can lay on the beach, meet Girls, visit bars and clubs
Maybe some of you can tell me why should i go to Pattaya and why should i go Phuket? What are the differences?
More questions:
1)-Is it better to take fly there and find a hotel there or is it better to book from a travel agency complete with hotel and flight?
2)How much money is enough for 2 weeks? I will go every night out and have fun. I am not an alcoholic so for me enough to drink few beers
3) Which month is the best time to travel there? Which month the cheapest time for flight tickets and for good weather?

I'm interested in purchasing a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. Its off of 3rd road near Beach St. I'm willing to rennovate the hotel to make it more modern. It the hotel consist of 2 restaurants serving western food and the other serving thai food. I was planning to close one of the restaurant down and make the lobby bigger. The current owner is in bind with cash, so I can purchase the hotel for a fraction of the price. The property has all legit paper work to sell all liquor, and cigaretts. Does anyone know if the government will give me a hard time? Is there curruption? Will I have to sleeze anyone pockets? Please advise! Thanks

Which should i choose Phuket or Pattaya?
Me and my friend are headed to thailand in july. i want to hit the beaches do some bungee jumping or parasaling, maybe see some historic sites and of course party like hell and hopefully hook up. Which is better for two single guys who arent into the prostitution scene but still want to party and meet local chicks Phuket or Pattaya? I kno pattaya is known for brothels but is phuket a classier yet still bumping place for two single guys.
